• 1 1/2 inch thick cuts black angus steak *
• Cracked black pepper
• Garlic powder
• Fresh rosemary
• Handful arugula
• Fresh tomatoes, wedged
• Parmigiano Reggiano, shaved
• Sea salt, to taste
• Extra virgin olive oil, to taste
• Aged balsamic vinegar, to taste
*Other cuts of steak can also be used
Begin by seasoning both sides of the steak with black pepper, garlic powder and fresh rosemary.
Once seasoned, grill over a flame that is anywhere between 500 and 600°F for 8 minutes on each side. For perfect grill marks, turn the steaks at a 90° angle halfway through each side's cooking time. Cover with aluminum foil and allow to rest for at least 10 minutes
Once rested, slice the steak into strips and lay out on either a plate or serving dish. Top with fresh arugula, wedged tomatoes and shaved parmigiano. Season with sea salt and drizzle with olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar. Enjoy!
